She does her job with passion. Laura, our spa manager, discovered this passion at a very young age when she accompanied her mother to the beautician's. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in aesthetics and various professional experiences, Laura joined the Château de Maubreuil three years ago as Spa Manager and now manages a team of 5 people while continuing to practice treatments.
As soon as she graduated from the third grade, Laura decided to take a CAP (vocational training certificate) in aesthetics, despite the fact that her teachers did not recognize this training. This passion which animates her since very young leads her to continue her studies allowing her to obtain a professional bac and a BTS. Laura works in different recognized beauty shops. "I also worked for 7 years at the Cocoon Studio in Graslin in downtown Nantes. It is a place that offers fitness and aesthetic services, I was in charge of the whole aesthetic part. I loved these years which taught me a lot professionally" says Laura.
Three years ago, Laura met the owner of the Château, and wrote a new page in her professional career by joining the spa of the Château de Maubreuil as manager. "I was immediately seduced by the setting of the Château and the project that the owner of the Château de Maubreuil offered me. He offered me his trust and carte blanche to manage the opening of the spa and the establishment of the Cinq Mondes brand from A to Z. It was a real challenge!" she explains.
On a daily basis, Laura manages her team of 5 people (Léa, Julie, Lauryne, Maëlle and Sonia), the smooth running of the spa, the orders, the organization of events and the search for wellness professionals. In her daily missions, Laura devotes part of her days to the practice of treatments. "If I had to practice only one treatment, it would be, without hesitation, the Ayurvedic massage. It's a massage that alternates fast and slow movements to get to the bottom of tensions. I like a massage to be technical and surprising", concludes Laura.
