This month, we meet Julie, one of the practitioners entirely devoted to your well-being at Château de Maubreuil spa. Her gentleness and energy will take you on a journey through different beauty rituals from around the world.
Since the 5th grade, Julie has been passionate about massages. "I used to imagine movements that could do good. I tried them on myself as a self-massage and then on my loved ones. I was always told that I had a gift for it," she recalls. This is how she chose to study beauty care.
Originally from the Vendée, the young woman moved closer to Nantes for her studies. She completed her CAP in beauty care at LIFOM and her CQP at Sylvia Terrade, working at the Domaine de la Bretesche Spa. With her diplomas in hand, she moved to Carquefou. She discovered the Château de Maubreuil thanks to one of her teachers. Quickly seduced by the mix of ancient charm and modern audacity of this "high tech castle" as she likes to call it, Julie joins the Spa Le Maubreuil team in November 2021.
Already familiar with the Cinq Mondes brand thanks to her previous experiences, Julie has quickly adapted to her new environment. Her favourite massage protocol, the relaxing back massage, is inspired by the principles of Traditional Indian Medicine and is derived from an Ayurvedic ritual. "This massage is deeply relaxing. The focus is on the back, neck and shoulder blades to release accumulated tension and provide total relaxation and well-being," she explains.
Curious and knowledgeable about the products you find in our spa boutique, Julie will be able to advise you wonderfully on which products are best suited to your skin.
"A prestigious establishment like the Château de Maubreuil, attracts a demanding clientele and that's what I like best. Sometimes they have specific requests and you have to adapt. It is therefore very gratifying, when the clients thank you at the end of the treatment, to know that you have succeeded in offering them a real interlude of well-being. I am already starting to have a small loyal clientele. "she concludes.
