A story of ambition, dedication and love for the hotel business that inspires and captivates. Her remarkable and inspiring career path is testament to her meteoric rise in the world of luxury hotels.

With a solid educational background, Mélissande began her journey in the hospitality industry with a technological baccalaureate in Hospitality and Catering, acquired at the prestigious Lycée de La Rochelle. She then pursued her academic career with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management in Nantes. In March 2021, a new page was turned for Mélissande when she walked through the doors of Château de Maubreuil, joining the team as a chambermaid. In this role, she showed exceptional enthusiasm and commitment, especially in the difficult context of the global pandemic. Her determination and talent were quickly recognized: after just six months, she was promoted to housekeeper, before being appointed Accommodation Manager in February 2023.

In just two years, Mélissande has brilliantly carved out her path within our company. As Lodging Manager, her responsibilities are vast and essential to ensure service excellence and total customer satisfaction. "My main tasks are to train the floor and reception teams. On a daily basis, I provide them with professional support, ensure everyone's well-being and guarantee an unrivalled customer experience", she explains.

Known for her smile and attention to detail, Mélissande embodies dynamism and perseverance on a daily basis. Driven by a deep-seated desire to contribute to customer happiness, she shares: "What I'm passionate about is bringing happiness to our customers. I enjoy the daily challenges of my job, which confronts me with a variety of assignments, both expected and unexpected. My greatest satisfaction comes from hearing that our customers have had a memorable stay thanks to our efforts." To balance her boundless energy, Mélissande practices sport and finds solace in reading, as well as in spending time with family and friends. They describe her as a perfectionist, an essential quality in the hotel business. She confides: "My mom often tells me: an original name for a unique person".

Her commitment and inspiring career path make Mélissande a key figure at Château de Maubreuil. She is particularly proud to have contributed to the evolution of the floor and reception teams, "a continuous qualitative change that marks a series of successful projects". What she cherishes most at the Château is the bond with her colleagues, the beauty of the place, and the attentiveness to everyone. In conclusion, she says: "I'm passionate about my work. I'm constantly thinking about how to improve myself and our services. For me, Château de Maubreuil represents the opportunity to offer a unique experience, both for our customers and for our staff."
