Behind the majestic bar at Château de Maubreuil, Naomie embodies freshness, creativity and enthusiasm. As an apprentice barmaid, she trains alongside the best to offer customers a unique and memorable experience.

Meet Naomie, Apprentice Barmaid.

Naomie began her career with a CAP CSHCR before discovering the Château through her brother-in-law. ‘He often came to eat at the Château and suggested that I apply for my additional qualification in bar management,’ she explains. Since the end of August 2023, she has been putting her energy and talent to good use at Château de Maubreuil, where she is learning and growing.

As an apprentice barmaid, Naomie is responsible for welcoming customers to the bar and making classic cocktails and original creations. What she enjoys most about her job is surprising customers with new ideas and establishing a warm rapport with them. ‘I really enjoy making creative cocktails because people are surprised by the mix of flavours,’ she confides.

Naomie is particularly proud of teaching her colleagues about classic cocktails and introducing them to new products. Her versatility and eagerness to learn make her an invaluable asset to the bar team. When she started at the Château, Naomie was apprehensive about working in an environment with so many staff. ‘At first, I was a bit stressed about working at the Château because there are so many staff. In the end, I love working at the Château with my colleagues, there's a very friendly atmosphere,’ she shares. Her parents often remark on how affectionately and enthusiastically she talks about her colleagues.

Outside work, Naomie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as shopping. Her sister, who knows her well, describes her as ‘cheerful, smiling, funny and caring. Very involved in her work, she does her best to help her team and is always there when they need her.’ An invaluable quality for a barmaid working in a prestigious establishment.

What Naomie appreciates most about working at the Château is the good atmosphere she enjoys with her colleagues. Coming to work is always a pleasure, and she particularly enjoys developing her talents as a mixologist alongside her superiors. ‘Creating and discovering new cocktails is what drives me most in my working day,’ she confides.

With her professionalism, creativity and joie de vivre, Naomie continues to play a crucial role in the success of the Château de Maubreuil bar, helping to make every visit a memorable experience for customers.
