Maubreuil's blogPORTRAIT

Meet Marina, receptionist.
From your arrival at the hotel to every detail of your stay, Marina is committed to making your stay at Château de Maubreuil an unforgettable experience. Having graduated a year ago, our new receptionist has a sense of welcome, an eye for detail and a keen ear for your every need.
Although Marina initially studied law, her passion for foreign languages led her to reorient her studies towards tourism, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in travel and tourism at the Tunon school, as well as her air hostess diploma. Her empathy and desire to be as close as possible to customers enabled her to gain a wide range of professional experience in 2-star, 4-star and, most recently, 5-star hotels.
« I quickly realized that the law wasn't giving me what I wanted. I'd always had a passion for foreign languages, and my ambition was to do a job that would bring me closer to people. The receptionist job presented itself to me and offered me the two things I wanted to combine in my career plan », says Marina.
Organization, patience and adaptability are the watchwords of the receptionist's job according to Marina. Flawless organization to take care of guests, unlimited patience to offer the best services and adaptability to foreign languages to speak easily with all the guests of the 5-star hotel, gourmet restaurant and spa.
Marina's days are punctuated by receiving guests, answering the phone, dealing with e-mails, giving advice or researching activities. « My favorite part is when guests arrive at the Château. We attach great importance to ensuring that the unforgettable experience we want them to have starts right from the moment they arrive. Discovering the rooms is always a privileged moment when the wonder of our guests is suspended for a moment. »
« Working at Château de Maubreuil means working in an idyllic setting and with united, caring colleagues. It's a pleasure to know that we can count on each other, despite the different jobs we do within the hotel. The setting is extraordinary, and when you feel good somewhere, it's easy to convey that well-being to the people who visit us, » concludes Marina.
