A vernissage at the Château de Maubreuil
Defined as a sensitive artist who expresses all the power of animal life in her works, the painter Cybèle organised a vernissage in our exceptional hotel on the outskirts of Nantes on 2 June. Her works are exhibited there until July 2nd.
A recognised animal painter, a French artist acclaimed by the critics and regularly exhibited, a stylist, a draughtswoman and an animal illustrator, Cybèle paints original monumental canvases, works with colour with a brush or a knife, and gives life to the gaze of the wild animal, which thus expresses a whole palette of feelings.
In her portraits of wild animals, Cybèle tries to give life and happiness and tells us about an ideal world that soothes and enchants. The choice of colours is not insignificant. It breathes cheerfulness, makes contrasts and light vibrate. In the empathetic gazes of his sublimated animals, there is intensity, a spark, or rather a flame that expresses all the richness and depth of feelings. These are strong and tender messages that speak for themselves, reminding us all of our deep attachment to the respect of life and its beauty.
On Thursday 2 June, nearly 200 people passed through the gates of the Château de Maubreuil, near Nantes, to discover and admire the works of Cybèle. An evening rich in emotions for this artist-painter who has reorganised her vernissage in order to offer her guests an exceptional evening. Thanks to a favourable weather, Cybèle installed her works in the gardens of the Château by organising an itinerary around the piano of her long-time friend and exceptional pianist Pierre-Yves Plat, who honoured us with a gentle melody throughout the evening.
"This vernissage was a great success. Many people came to show me their emotion by discovering my paintings. In my various works, I choose to represent wild animals because they express a lot of love, fragility and strength, feelings that resonate with most people," concludes Cybèle.
Cybèle's works are on display until 2 July in our 5-star hotel. The painter is available for all those who wish to discover her works in her company.
