The gardens of the Château reopen their doors
In Maubreuil, nature is slowly but surely blossoming in this month of June. Each day that passes offers a new picture of a blazing nature. As the sun and the fine weather settle in for the summer, we invite you to visit the gardens of the Château de Maubreuil, a stone's throw from Nantes, for a bucolic journey through history, art and vegetation.
June marks the return of summer and the opening of the gardens of our 5-star hotel near Nantes. During this walk, you will discover the place under the tender eyes of the Marquis de Dion, a pioneer of industry, politician and owner of the estate in the 20th century, whose imprint still marks the gardens of the castle today.
A bucolic stroll through our 14 hectares will allow you to discover the many facets of our gardens.
- Our "bosquet aux souhaits", a silent place where you can make your most heartfelt wishes;
- Our orchard, where every year our trees abound with fruit that you can taste in our gastronomic restaurant La Table du Marquis;
- Our vineyard, where twenty vines have been planted in 2021;

- Our permaculture vegetable garden, where fruit and vegetables are mixed together in a joyful balance;
- Our 1,000 m2 aviary where our Asian and Latin American gallinaceous friends can frolic at their leisure;And finally,

From the African garden to the Moroccan garden, passing through the Mexican, Balinese or even the well-being garden, let yourself be guided by the perfume of the flowers to make your senses travel.
