Every day, she ensures the absolute well-being of her clients and her teams in order to offer quality treatments and impeccable service. She strives to make each visit to the Spa an incredible experience and an unforgettable memory. Meet Laura, Spa Manager of the Château de Maubreuil, the first 5-star hotel in the Nantes region.
At a very young age, Laura was fascinated by the world of beauty. My mother used to let me go with her to the beautician's and I used to watch with admiration these women who took care of others. I loved the atmosphere of a beauty salon, the smell of the products and the wax". It is thus quite naturally that she heads towards studies in aesthetics. With a CAP, BAC PRO and BTS in her pocket, Laura has built up a solid experience by working for large beauty chains and by working on her own.
In 2019, a magnificent challenge is offered to her with the opening of the Maubreuil castle and its brand new Spa partner Cinq Mondes. Hired as a manager, Laura starts from a blank page to create a space of absolute well-being. She chose the equipment, the products, the practitioners and the treatment menu. On a daily basis, the missions of the spa manager are numerous: "I coordinate the smooth running of the spa, the team and its related wellness activities (pilates, sophrology...). I am also in the cabin to practice our treatments with our clients" she explains. What she particularly likes is the contact with the client, whether it is for a massage or advice, "Our job is made of sharing and generosity" she enthuses.
Full of ambition and inspired by the exceptional setting of the castle, Laura wishes to reveal all the potential that the Spa of Château de Maubreuil can offer. "I would like the spa to become a place that cannot be ignored and the reference for high-end well-being in the region. A place where people feel good and can come to recharge their batteries" she concludes.
