Meeting with Tom, sales apprentice and manager of the Château's boutique

Motivated and attentive, the diversification of his daily missions allows him to be in contact with all the Maubreuil teams and to learn from each of them. 

Before going into the luxury hotel business, Tom took a BTC MCO (Operational Sales Management) during which he spent several months as an intern at Galeries Lafayette in Nantes. These different internship periods allowed him to learn more about the sophisticated and demanding world of luxury clothing. Naturally, Tom decided to pursue his studies in the field of luxury. Last September, he entered the Bachelor of Luxury program at the International School of Luxury in Nantes, where he will graduate next June.

After a first day of immersion in the Château and contact with the teams, Tom was won over by this new adventure and joined the Château de Maubreuil sales team. "The hotel business presented itself to me as a real opportunity, working in an incredible setting, alongside a dynamic and competent team, is a real chance. I couldn't have dreamed of anything better!" comments Tom.

Within the commercial department of the Château, Tom is in charge of managing seminars and event services such as weddings, birthdays, or themed meals. With the desire to offer only quality and unforgettable experiences, Tom invests 100% in each event he supervises. Moreover, he likes to remind us that the three essential qualities to exercise this profession are the sense of customer relationship, listening and discretion. Knowing how to take a back seat while remaining attentive to the needs of his clients is his daily routine.

"What particularly motivates me at Château de Maubreuil is the sharing and trust that reigns supreme. Being in contact with all the teams feeds me with knowledge. Every day, something different happens, everyone has a different path and doesn't hesitate to share it with me, all of which is extremely enriching," adds Tom.

Because of his determination, his motivation and his audacity, the Château de Maubreuil did not hesitate to entrust him with the responsibility of its store. With the help of Kévin, director of the Château de Maubreuil, Tom is developing the boutique through a real range of qualitative products, with the effigy of Maubreuil. Thus, wines and champagnes from the Château's cellar, signature cocktails, Maubreuil signed items (towels, bathrobes, etc.), jewelry or even products from our partner spa 5 Mondes, can be discovered in our boutique.

My previous experience at Galeries Lafayette gave me a taste for high standards, and I am proud to be able to put that to good use at Château de Maubreuil." Concludes Tom.
